The Sunday Post (66) / Stacking the Shelves (45)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hi all!  I hope you guys had a good bookish and non-bookish week. I can’t believe it’s almost summer! In the back of my mind I still think it feels like  spring, but we’re half way through 2014 you guys. While I don’t have any concrete summer plans this year (other than working),  you’ll probably find me reading and eating big bowls of ice cream. As for June, it means The Fault in Our Stars movie release! While I’m not a super fan of this book (I get hyped up very easily), I’m definitely excited to see this movie just because. Any brave souls rereading the book like I did last week? Are you planning on watching the movie when it comes out next weekend?

STSmall_thumb25255B225255DStacking the Shelves post! Hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, Stacking the Shelves is a chance to showcase new books, ones checked out from the library, bought, won or received for review.

Sometimes I find myself guilty about borrowing a book and not reading it, which is why there are times I limit myself to 1 or 2 books. However, this week, since I finished that pile of library books I allowed myself to be a little greedy and buy new books as well as place some holds.

Borrowed from the Library:
Biggest Flirts by Jennifer Echols
The Last Best Kiss by Clair Lazebnik
Don’t Look Back by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Love Letters to the Dead by Ava Dallaria

Books Bought:
The Art of Lainey by Paula Stokes
Broken Hearts, Fences, and Other Things to Mend by Katie Finn

Ebooks Borrowed:
Take me On by Katie McGarry

Did you guys get any awesome books this week?

  2. I’ve heard really amazing things about Love Letters to the Dead. I’m hoping to buy a copy of it soon so I can finally get the chance to read it! I hope you enjoy your books. 🙂
