Weekly Wrap Up (05)

Welcome to the Weekly Wrap-up with Bookmunchies. This is our weekly update that combines Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer‘s SUNDAY POST and Tynga’s Reviews‘ STACKING THE SHELVES. This is a post to share news, to recap the week on the blog, share new reads and new books, and upcoming fun for the week ahead!

Hey guys, Jackie here,

Happy April everyone! It’s very spring-ish in this part of the world and it’s like winter is half forgotten, which I’m fine with that. We’re still getting chilly winds in the morning though and it makes things a bit confusing if I should bring a coat with me or not because by the time work is over for the day, it’s like in the 80s. On days I do come into work near the afternoon I don’t have worry about bringing a jacket. Anyways, life has been a bit dull. I find myself feeling like Belle sometimes wanting an adventure in the great wide somewhere, but then I end up going nah I rather stay home and read or knit. Maybe it’s time I find another hobby or take a yoga class. So for April there’s a couple of books I’m looking forward to coming out. The Adjustment by Suzanne Young (which I need to catch up on – I stopped at book 2 I think) and Alex, Approximately by Jenn Bennett.

What books are you guys looking forward to in April?

✖ Teaser Tuesday: By Your Side
✖ “Waiting” On Wednesday: The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue

Here at Bookmunchies we believe in being surprises for the week
(aka. we procrastinate, so we can’t tell you what’s quite coming up yet).

  1. I’m looking forward to Alex, Approximately. And same here with the weather- cool in the morning and sometimes a lot warmer in the after noon (and sometimes not lol). Come on spring!

    Have a nice week. 🙂

  2. I just featured Alex, Approximately for my Waiting on Wednesday post this past week. Apparently I was late getting the memo about that book. I hope you guys have a great week!

  3. Still waiting for spring here!!! I am super looking forward to Alex, Approximately. I just checked out and added Some Kind of Magic – looks cute! Have a great week!!

  4. Perhaps you should start a bullet journal? There’s plenty adventure there! I started one mid-January. I enjoy it and it is takes up some time. The weather here is cool in the morning, requiring a jacket, and then near blazing in the afternoon.

  5. Reviews for Alex, Approximately by Jenn Bennett have been really positive. It only reached 60 today but we have had nothing but rain. Have a great week Jackie.

  6. I am so ready for spring. It has been nicer here and I am loving it. I always seem to think about things I could go out and do but I almost always would really rather stay home with a book. Happy reading!

  7. Sigh…we’re finally get a few days of sun every now and then, but it’s so cold still! This winter just refuses to give up the ghost, and has totally outstayed its welcome!!

  8. LOL I was thinking the same the other day. Eh…home to read and nap and maybe cross stitch. That sounds much more likely than a big adventure. lol
