Welcome to the Weekly Wrap-up with Bookmunchies. This is our weekly update that combines Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer‘s SUNDAY POST and Tynga’s Reviews‘ STACKING THE SHELVES. This is a post to share news, to recap the week on the blog, share new reads and new books, and upcoming fun for the week ahead!
Hey guys, Jackie here,
You can definitely feel fall in the air in SoCal right now. Or at least this past week. This summer made me stay in a lot more than I expected to, but I I blame that on the humidity. However, I hope that it’ll be a lot cooler now that it’s fall. Speaking of fall, I have yet to have my first cup of pumpkin spice latte of the season. I’ve had the pumpkin chai latte from DavidsTea and it’s fab, but I’m still unsure where my opinion on pumpkin spice latte lies. I’m happy that I can finally consume tea again. It was just too humid this summer to drink hot tea and I miss that. Aside from the humidity this summer hasn’t been too terrible though. I’ve got some reading done, some knitting done, binge watched some shows, shelved a lot of books at work, and hung out with some coworkers and friends.
Here at Bookmunchies we believe in being surprises for the week
(aka. we procrastinate, so we can’t tell you what’s quite coming up yet).
Close Enough to Touch by Colleen Oakley: 5 of 5 stars – Loved these characters and the best part is they bond over books.
I’ve got nothing this week, but I did placed a couple of holds on books.
