Weekly Wrap Up (62)

Welcome to the Weekly Wrap-up with Bookmunchies. This is our weekly update that combines Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer‘s SUNDAY POST and Tynga’s Reviews‘ STACKING THE SHELVES. This is a post to share news, to recap the week on the blog, share new reads and new books, and upcoming fun for the week ahead!

Ahoy, Cyn here!

Happy Sunday (and Mother’s Day!), my lovelies! It’s been a long week for me and I can’t wait for Monday to come so I can finally have my weekend! We’re BBQ for mom’s day to celebrate and I also can’t for that, yay bbq season!

I’ve been doing a better job of reading but still can’t get back into the habit of reviewing so sorry for the lack of posts on the blog! The sunny days have got me running and enjoying the outside (:

I’m still dreaming of the delicious food in NYC…. Here are some food pictures, I apologize for the hunger it may cause:

NY bagel & cream cheese!
Dim Sum @ Nom Wah Tea Parlor
C-bao (and other foods below) at Smorgasburg

✖ Musing About Things: Authors Across Genres
✖ Teaser Tuesday: From Twinkle, With Love
✖ Release Day Blitz: Arrogant Devil by R.S. Grey

Here at Bookmunchies we believe in being surprises for the week
(aka. we procrastinate, so we can’t tell you what’s quite coming up yet).

Leah on the Off Beat (currently reading): I’m definitely enjoying getting back to Creekwood! Seriously, I adore Simon so much and Leah is starting to win me over

  1. I spent a lot of time outdoors too. Now I’m scrambling to get reviews written so I can get ahead again. LOL Nice book haul. I need to finish the Lunar series.

  2. It’s nice to finally have good weather! I don’t blame you! And that bagel- YUM! lol love food pics. That Cubano too…

Happy Mother’s Day and enjoy the BBQ!

  3. Yum, that food looks delicious! Very jealous you got to do more than look at it 🙂 Hope you have a great week!

  4. I’m new to the Sunday post and checking out everyone’s blogs. I love NYC. Now that we live on the east coast we go for about 4 days every year to sightsee and shop and of course – eat! Last spring though we went and it was a horrible snowstorm and cold about 15. All the flights and planes and buses were cancelled but we had traveled by Amtrak and it went on time. 5. I just finished reading Simon and I LOVED it! And really, I was able to relate to Leah a lot. She may have been a bit bitchy in the first book at times, but I understood where she was coming from. I can’t wait to read her story!

  6. I’m going to need one of each of the food items pictured – well double on the bagels and cream cheese! Yum! I’ve had a hard time focusing on reading lately too and being outside is definitely calling! Have a great week!

  7. No harm in enjoying the sunshine! Plenty of time to catch up on reviews.
Those pictures have made me so hungry…. Must go get food now.
